Regionfastigheter shall, with a responsible, strategic, long-term, and energy-efficient approach, own, manage, develop, and enhance the region's properties. The operation works closely with healthcare and other regional operations to create functional, sustainable, and cost-effective facilities. Within property management, operations technicians, technical managers, property managers, and the manager work in close collaboration. The work group has strong practical expertise and is responsible for complex properties where operational reliability, economics, legal matters, and business utility must be balanced. As Property Manager, Land, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the Region's land areas, which together encompass approximately 2.4 million m². We are now seeking a property manager to join our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date by agreement. Duties You will work with: Managing, operating, and developing the Region's roads, parking areas, green spaces, plantings, and forest land, and ensuring well-maintained and safe outdoor environments. Serving as the Region's contact person with contractors and suppliers, and managing and following up agreements for summer and winter road maintenance. Planning, ordering, and following up maintenance and construction measures, and conducting quality follow-ups. Driving investment, construction, and maintenance projects from needs analysis and planning through implementation and final reporting. Responsibility for budget, forecasts, cost monitoring, and analyses, and collaborating with operations, authorities, and other stakeholders. Qualifications We are looking for you who: Have post-secondary education in property management, real estate economics, law, construction and real estate management, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent Have work experience in property management or another equivalent management role Have experience with budget work, financial monitoring, and forecasting Have experience with contract management and monitoring suppliers or contractors Have a good understanding of contract law and construction law issues Have experience preparing decision-making materials and making financial assessments related to properties Have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Have a Class B driver's license It is meritorious if you: Have specialization or education in lease law, construction law, contract law, public procurement, economics, or budget/forecasting work Have experience working in a public operation and/or politically governed organization Have experience working with LOU and collaboration with procurement functions Have work experience with community facilities, healthcare facilities, or large real estate portfolios Have work experience in investment planning, facility provisioning, or large construction projects Have experience working with property systems, financial systems, and digital monitoring To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Self-driven Collaboration skills Structured Holistic perspective Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
