Property Manager for Öster Malma – A Unique Role with Significant Responsibility
We are now seeking a driven and responsible property manager for Öster Malma – a unique location in the heart of Sörmland's nature, visited by over 40,000 people annually and home to Svenska Jägareförbundet's national office where over 50 people work.
Öster Malma, owned by Svenska Jägareförbundet, encompasses approximately 1,000 hectares of forest and agricultural land and features about fifteen different buildings ranging from cottages to a unique baroque castle. The property operates a restaurant, conference and hotel facilities, and a park with Swedish farm animals.
We work to make the property a model estate in sustainable management and maintain, among other things, our own biological treatment plant. As property manager at Öster Malma, you will have a key role with overall responsibility for the interior and exterior environment of our buildings and will contribute to ensuring our visitors have a positive overall experience of Öster Malma.
To succeed in your assignment, you have access to a team of three property attendants whom you plan, lead, and develop work with. Beyond the ability to prioritize, you need an eye for detail while also seeing the bigger picture.

You will:
Supervise daily field work (team of three property attendants)
Responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation
Develop and follow up on maintenance plans
Lead and participate in projects and sub-projects
Perform rounds and corrective maintenance (plumbing, electrical, ventilation, etc.)
Ensure regulatory requirements are met (e.g., fire safety inspections)
Plan maintenance work to minimize emergency repairs
Responsible for purchasing, machinery, and tools
Manage contacts with external suppliers and specialists
Responsible for property budget, follow-up, and invoice handling
Manage decommissioning and sale of inventory
Experience and Education
Experience in property operations and maintenance
Management of personnel
Practical experience or relevant training
Good ability to read and understand technical instructions in Swedish
B-class driver's license is required
Meritorious experience includes management experience and experience with self-inspection programs, HACCP, or similar systematic work.

Practical Information
Full-time employment with 6 months' probationary period. Flexible working hours and on-call duty are included in the position.

Work location is Öster Malma. Dogs are present at the workplace.
