With us, you'll have the opportunity to manage and develop properties in Solna Municipality and take overall responsibility for one of our management areas that includes schools, preschools, cultural and sports facilities, as well as properties within care services. As a property manager, you'll be an important function in collaboration with tenants and colleagues! About Us The Property Department is responsible for oversight, maintenance, upkeep, and development of the municipality's own property portfolio. The portfolio comprises approximately 225 properties that are primarily used in the municipality's operations, such as preschools, schools, cultural and sports facilities, and care services. What Does the Work Involve? As a manager with us, you will, among other things: Have overall responsibility for all properties within the Preschool management area. Prioritize measures based on the tenants' needs and the condition and function of the buildings. A significant portion of your working time will be spent collaborating with our tenants to develop the properties. Maintain continuous contact and dialogue with tenants and lead minor maintenance and renovation projects. Since ongoing property operations are outsourced to contractors, supervising and monitoring the supplier is an important part of your work as a property manager. You'll be supported by a technical specialist, operations controller, project unit, and other colleagues in the Property Department. The tenants you meet in your work reflect the municipality's exciting operational areas, and you'll meet daily with colleagues from, among others, the Children and Education Department. The goal of the work is, of course, that our tenants have the best possible properties within schools, preschools, cultural and recreational facilities, and care services. Solna Municipality and the Technical Administration have well-developed methods and procedures for efficient contractor management and contract monitoring, which will provide you with good support in your daily monitoring work. The Technical Administration also has a dedicated team for procurement and contract monitoring that both coordinates and supports the departments' work. Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education or supplementary education assessed as relevant for the role of property manager. At least one year of experience as a property manager or technical administrator. Ability to communicate in Swedish very well, both orally and in writing. If you also have experience with procurement work, this is a merit. To succeed in the role, you must be driven and organized. You take own initiatives and enjoy freedom with responsibility. The Property Department is a service function to the municipality's operations, and therefore we want you to have good collaboration skills and the ability to understand others' roles and circumstances. We see that you have good organizational skills. It's important that you understand and can apply economic principles and are comfortable in roles where you can also focus on costs and revenues.
