The Property Management and Projects operation is part of the Department of Culture, Recreation and Technology and manages the municipality's built properties. We manage approximately 225,000 m² of operational facilities and 25,000 m² of development properties. The department is also responsible for new construction and renovation of facilities for municipal operations and is operatively responsible for the municipality's facility acquisition process. The department consists of 14 employees within property management, facility provision, and construction project management.

JOB DUTIES
As a property manager with us, you have overall responsibility for your own property portfolio. This means overarching responsibility for maintaining good technical standards in your portfolio.
As a manager, you also have customer responsibility, which means close collaboration with the tenants in your portfolio. The role involves assisting and supporting customers with property-related matters, working with long-term planning, acting as the client for property maintenance and operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring operational economics and energy consumption in your properties with support from our IT-based operational systems.
You are responsible for annually updating maintenance plans by conducting your own inspections of the property portfolio and actively following up on ongoing maintenance projects on site.
Property managers, construction project managers, and facility functions often work closely together on our various assignments, but your role also includes collaboration with other municipal colleagues as well as external consultants, contractors, and authorities. Our municipal housing company, Fabo, is a major collaboration partner, as they are our provider of operations and maintenance in our properties. Contact with the public and other stakeholders also occurs.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with higher education in property management or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You also have previous professional experience from an independent role in the property or construction industry. If you also have knowledge of building regulations and industry standards as well as experience with contract procurement, that is a merit.

The job duties require good IT skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A B-class driving license is required.
