About the job As Facilities Manager, you have overall responsibility for managing, developing, and future-proofing the real estate operations. Through comprehensive responsibility for real estate, technical infrastructure, workplace-related services, and investment projects, you ensure that operations meet both current and future needs. The assignment combines strategic development work with responsibility for operational delivery. An important part of your job is to lead and develop the organization through both direct reporting specialists and subordinate managers, where you create clear conditions for collaboration, performance, and long-term development. You also ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and our goals for safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Examples of responsibilities Lead and develop the Facility Management organization Responsible for budget, investments, and monitoring of key performance indicators Ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal standards Drive strategic development projects within real estate and infrastructure Ensure high availability in critical production systems Develop approaches for preventive maintenance and technical management Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and authorities Contribute to the company's sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives Placement The position is located at our facility in Gimo and work is conducted on-site. Your background and personality You have solid experience in real estate management or facility leadership in a larger organization and are experienced in leading operations through change. Your background gives you a stable understanding of the relationship between technology, economics, safety, and service. Your background: Good knowledge of real estate economics, operations technology, and relevant real estate legislation. Experience leading employees, managers, and specialists. Ability to drive development and change working methods. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We consider it meritorious if you have: Experience in digitalization, process industry, crisis management, fire protection, or safety work. As a leader, you create clarity, trust, and momentum. You communicate well with different parts of the organization, build sustainable collaborations, and maintain the big picture when multiple needs must be weighed against each other.
