Family Assessor
REGION GOTLAND · plný úvazek
Visborgsallén 19, Visby, Švédsko
Ängsvillan is an assessment and treatment home for families with children ages 0-12 operated by Region Gotland. Ängsvillan accommodates up to three families and operates 24/7. We also conduct home observations in the family's own environment. Our service area covers all of Gotland, and the workplace is located in Visby. At Ängsvillan, we work on behalf of the Children and Family Unit and the Family Care and Family Law Unit. We collaborate closely with all parties important to the family and work to include both the family's private and professional networks. We work using the Signs of Safety approach, which means we work to ensure that children, parents, and their networks are involved in the assessment's questions and the goals of the change process. As a Family Assessor, you work on a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. We offer a pleasant and development-oriented work environment with varied tasks. We also provide external supervision, one wellness hour/week, and wellness benefits. Your Tasks Regardless of assignment, we work based on BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus). Assessment assignments involve describing and evaluating children's needs and parents' capacity based on specific questions. This is done through structured conversations with children, parents, and their networks, conversations with other reference persons, and through observations. Treatment work consists of guiding and supporting parents in developing their parenting skills, with the goal that parents can meet their children's needs. Ängsvillan also works with home observations, where we visit families and conduct observations in their home environment based on the given assignment. All our work is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. As a Family Assessor, your work includes planning and structuring assessment/treatment work with the team around the family, having conversations with children, parents, and their networks, observing, documenting, and assisting with practical tasks such as cleaning. The work also includes following the governing documents, policies, and guidelines in place for the operation. Ängsvillan recently relocated its entire operation from Hemse to Visby, which means we are in an exciting phase where we are developing our work based on our new conditions. You will be an important part of this and will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the operation. Who Are You? You are educated as a socialpedagogue or have other, at least 2-year, post-secondary education focused on social work, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. A B driver's license is required. It is important that you believe in individuals' own strength, have a good ability to collaborate, and are skilled at building relationships. You have a humble attitude toward those we meet, and you can be flexible in that you can easily adapt to new circumstances. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. It is important that you function as part of a team while also being able to work independently. It is also important that you work based on Region Gotland's core values: trust, care, and participation. Similarly, that you work for a good work environment together with your colleagues. Before employment, an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register must be provided. We hope you recognize yourself in our description, and we warmly welcome your application!
