Family Law consists of three dedicated employees with extensive experience in family law and child and youth social services and is part of Navigatorcenter, the administration's "gateway" where we meet people in different life situations. Here we work closely together across functions, which creates a dynamic and educational work environment. Within Navigatorcenter, in addition to Family Law, there is a public agency reception that handles incoming reports and applications, an alcohol advisor, and a budget and debt counselor. Navigatorcenter is part of the Work, Competence and Welfare Administration in Kristinehamn Municipality, an administration with a clear mission: to support people toward an independent and meaningful life. WORK DUTIES Your work tasks will include: • Conducting investigations and statements on behalf of the court in custody and residence matters. • Handling visitation support cases. • Investigating paternity and parentage. • Working with adoptions, both national and international. • Leading collaboration meetings between parents. • Drawing up agreements regarding custody, residence, and visitation. • Handling cases of custody transfer. • Conducting information meetings. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has a degree in social work. • Has experience in family law and/or child and youth social services. • Is comfortable with both independent work and teamwork. • Has strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. • Is organized, thorough, and responsible. We also believe that you have a genuine interest in legal matters and are comfortable handling conflict situations. You always meet people with professionalism and respect and have the ability to collaborate so that everyone can contribute ideas, knowledge, and experience. For you to fit well in the team, it is important that you have a good ability to work independently and can plan and take responsibility for your work tasks. You contribute to a positive and healthy work environment and participate in developing both your own and the organization's competence. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Travel occurs in this position, therefore a B-driver's license is required. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: as soon as possible or by agreement.
