Järva is one of four pilot districts that are first in the transformation of social services in connection with the new social services law. Your role As a family law secretary, you work to support children and parents in family law matters based on the Parenthood Code and the Social Services Act – always with the best interests of the child in focus. Your tasks include: advice on family law voluntary collaboration meetings at parents' initiative or by order of the district court handling of paternity, agreements, passport, and name matters investigations regarding custody, residence, and visitation by order of the district court facilitation of visitation with visitation support investigations for adoption and follow-up reports conducting parenting courses and children's groups cooperation and collaboration with other parts of social services Your competence and experience We're looking for someone who has: a degree in social work (socionomexamen) good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written It's an advantage if you have: experience in family law work experience in public administration, preferably with children and young people experience in investigation work, preferably with children and young people further education in family law, for example "Whole Child", "Different Worlds", "Children in Parents' Focus" As a person, you are responsible and organized in your work. You are attentive, professional, and flexible and work well with others. You are calm and stable in pressured situations and skilled at building relationships with others. Last but not least, you are curious and engaged, both in your meetings with the children and parents you encounter and in contributing to development within your work area. Other information To work with children and young people within the City of Stockholm, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record (belastningsregistret). The extract will be requested before employment. Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
