We are now seeking a family counselor who wants to join our team within the Swedish Church's family counseling. The position is located at Vårsta diakonigård in Härnösand. About the Position As a family counselor with us, you will work in a skilled and responsive team of four family counselors with offices in Härnösand, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. The work follows guidelines developed within the Church's family counseling, KYFA. Here you will receive both regular professional development and a four-step occupational training program that leads to certification. Position responsibilities: · The foundation of the role is relationship counseling with couples, families, or individual adults who need guidance on relationship issues. The work includes advisory counseling sessions with couples, families, and individuals. · Family counselors schedule their own counseling appointments and are responsible for communication and administration related to the sessions. · Contact with commissioning parties and other collaboration partners. · The position is part of a work team with three other family counselors where certain shared tasks are distributed. · Statistics and activity reports. · The position may also include supervision and training. · Being part of Vårsta as a whole. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you have: · An academic degree as a social worker, psychologist, priest, or equivalent qualification, plus relevant further education such as basic psychotherapy training, couples therapy training, family therapy training, or similar, including personal therapy. · At least five years of work experience following your basic education. · Work experience in the field and possess qualities such as responsiveness, independence, self-awareness, and collaboration skills. Meritorious if you have: · Experience in family counseling · Experience with and certification in the Swedish Church's family counseling · Legitimacy-granting psychotherapy training (step 2) · Training in EFT – Emotionally Focused Therapy Other Qualifications: Ability to collaborate both internally and externally Fluent Swedish in speech and writing We expect you to share Vårsta's values as expressed in Vårsta's vision and values.
