About the Job
Would you like to work as a family care coordinator at the family care unit in Northeast in an interesting and stimulating environment with team spirit, good management, external supervision, experienced and wonderful colleagues, and opportunities for solid professional development? Then we might be the right workplace for you! The administration actively works with working time innovations and the unit will be part of the 4-day week project starting in the fall.
The family care unit is divided into four different groups: on-call group, recruitment and investigation group, family care group, and contact services. The work differs somewhat between the different groups and we collaborate closely with each other based on our different tasks. As a family care coordinator in the referral and recruitment group, you work with recruiting and investigating family homes. You often travel by car or train to meet prospective family homes in their homes. Since the work tasks involve investigating prospective family homes, you need to be able to express yourself well in writing and have experience with documentation.
You work closely with child secretaries and investigating social secretaries and drive the processes forward. Development work is ongoing and there is a strong drive to find the right family homes for children who need placement. We value teamwork between the different professions and therefore have common methodology, team, and well-being days. We want to take advantage of the capacity and strengths that all social secretaries have and believe that together we can achieve the best for our placed children and family homes.
Our family homes are mainly in the Västra Götaland and Halland regions but also throughout Sweden. This means traveling as part of the work and occasionally working in the evenings.
