JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Family Home Secretary with us, you get a varied and meaningful assignment where relationships, collaboration, and development are central. You work with recruiting, investigating, training, and supporting foster families, emergency homes, and contact families. Together with the child's social worker, you build close collaborations around the child and foster family, with a focus on long-term and sustainable solutions. We are in an exciting development phase where you have the opportunity to contribute ideas, experience, and commitment. Together we develop foster care based on the new social services legislation, strengthen children and foster families' participation, and continue the work of creating early, accessible, and preventive support. For you who enjoy combining practical social work with development and learning, there are great opportunities to make an impact and contribute. The assignment also includes work with Skolfam and participation in handling emergency placements together with colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a social worker (socionom) or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. You enjoy working together with others, are curious about people's different life situations, and want to contribute to creating good conditions for children who need society's support. We believe that you appreciate building long-term relationships and see the value in creating trusting collaborations with both children, foster families, and colleagues. You have great commitment to children and young people's development, feel comfortable in meetings with people, and see collaboration as a natural success factor. You also want to be part of developing the future of social services together with us. Experience in foster care, supervision, or investigation work is a merit. If you have training in Kälvesten or similar investigation methods, that is also a plus, but we also welcome you who have other experience and knowledge that can contribute to our work.
