About Us Individual and Family Care, IFO, consists of four units. One of them is Children and Family, and we are looking for new team members. We are 20 employees within a unit that handles children and youth, family law, and foster care. At Children and Family, we have actively worked for many years to improve our operations and foster care services. We have high ambitions and want to develop our activities. The purpose of the Foster Care Group's development work is to provide our contractors with the conditions to carry out their mission in the best possible way. We believe that by developing and individualizing support, we can make this possible. We also actively work to create conditions for collaboration between clients, foster families/contact persons, social workers, and guardians, based on our observation that interventions are most beneficial when this cooperation functions well. We are a well-functioning work group that works intensively to increase children's participation in our processes. Our thinking is that the better we become at basing our work on children's experiences and situations, the better our work becomes in assessment, interventions, and support. Our goal is to make the individual child visible and heard in all our processes. In everything we do, the child should have the most space. We work on clarifying our processes with the support of Lean. Right now we are looking for a colleague who wants to work with foster families and contact families/persons with a focus on recruitment and support. A colleague who sees collaboration and cooperation as a natural part and who wants to be available as support to create positive change. The position also includes being on-call/backup support to some extent. This function is shared with other colleagues. We have a generous flex-time agreement where we coordinate within the group to ensure we are properly staffed during our opening hours. We have the opportunity to work from home one day per week. We are looking for a social worker who has the ability to "think outside the box" with a focus on the child's needs and who sees cooperation as a matter of course. As an employee in Lilla Edets Municipality, you have good digital skills and use digital tools in a safe and flexible way in everyday life.
