We work closely with social services and place the child's safety at the center. We are a growing organization with short decision paths and management that is close and present, even when you are located further away from our headquarters in Gothenburg. About the Role As a family home consultant in the Stockholm region, you are our face locally. You are responsible for a number of family homes and are their most important professional support in daily life: from recruitment and matching to ongoing supervision and follow-up. You work from your home and plan much of your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of everyday work. Your initial training takes place at our office in Gothenburg and you return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins. About the Work Area: Your base is Stockholm, but assignments regularly occur in Uppsala, Södermanland, and Västmanland, among others. When recruiting new family homes, occasional travel within the entire region may occur. You will, among other things: Recruit, investigate, and match emergency and family homes in the region Supervise and support family homes in their work, including in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders around the child Document and report continuously to the client and to the team in Gothenburg Participate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule We are Looking for You Who Have a degree in social work or equivalent higher education degree in social work, with experience in social work and preferably with children and young people. You are a confident and solution-oriented person who navigates safely in complex relationships between family homes, children, biological networks, and social services. Since you work independently most of the time, it is important that you are self-driven, organized, and comfortable with your own responsibility, while at the same time valuing and actively seeking contact with the team. You also have: Good knowledge of current legislation, especially the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young People Act (LVU) The ability to maintain focus and structure even when the pace is high, without daily office presence A warm and professional approach in your meetings with family homes and children A valid driver's license and your own car – the position involves regular home visits and travel in the region (compensation according to current rates) Residing in the Stockholm area and surrounding region Meritorious Experience in family foster care, investigation, or supervision of family homes Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, or A Home to Grow In Training in investigation methods for family homes, such as Kälvesten Supervision training for family homes Previous experience working from home/remotely in a similar role We Offer A role where you make a real difference for children and young people every day Great freedom to plan your own workday Regular visits to our office in Gothenburg for team meetings and check-ins Regular supervision and an individual competence development plan Wellness allowance and occupational pension A dedicated team with high expertise, even if the distance is sometimes greater Interviews are held on a rolling basis, initially digitally.
