About Hemnovia Hemnovia works with family home care with a focus on quality and long-term sustainability in every placement. We work closely with social services and place the child's safety at the center. We are a growing organization with short decision-making paths and a management team that is close, present, and engaged even when you are located further away from our head office in Gothenburg. About the Role As a family home consultant in Skåne, you are our face locally. You are responsible for a number of family homes and are their most important professional support in daily life: from recruitment and matching to ongoing supervision and follow-up. You work from your home and plan much of your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of the routine. Your introduction and training takes place initially at our office in Gothenburg and you return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins. About the Work Area: Your base is Skåne, but assignments regularly occur in Kronoberg, Halland, and Blekinge as well. When recruiting new family homes, occasional travel within the entire region may occur. You will, among other things: Supervise and support family homes in their assignments, even in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders around the child Document and report continuously to the client and to the team in Gothenburg Recruit, assess, and match emergency and family homes in the region Participate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule We Are Looking for You as Someone Who Holds a degree in social work (socionom) or equivalent higher education qualification in social work with experience in social work, preferably with children and young people. You are a secure and solution-oriented person who navigates comfortably in complex relationships between family homes, children, biological networks, and social services. Since you work independently much of the time, it is important that you are self-driven, organized, and comfortable with responsibility while also valuing and actively seeking contact with the team. You also have: Good knowledge of current legislation, particularly the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act Supervision training for family homes (required) Ability to maintain focus and structure even when the pace is high, without daily office presence A warm and professional manner in interactions with family homes and children Driver's license and own car – the position involves regular home visits and travel in the region (reimbursement according to current rates) Residence in Skåne Meriting Factors Experience in family home care, assessment, or supervision of family homes Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, or A Home to Grow In Training in assessment methods for family homes, such as Kälvesten Previous experience working from home/remotely in a similar role We Offer A role where you make a real difference for children and young people every day Great freedom to plan your own workday Regular visits to our office in Gothenburg for team meetings and check-ins Regular supervision and an individual competency development plan Wellness allowance and occupational pension An engaged team with high expertise, even if the distance is sometimes greater Practical Information Interviews are held on a rolling basis, initially digitally.
