About Hemnovia Hemnovia works with family foster care with a focus on quality and long-term sustainability in every placement. We work closely with social services and place the child's safety at the center. We are a growing organization with short decision-making paths and leadership that is close and present, even when you are working further from our main office in Gothenburg. About the Role As a family home consultant in the Örebro region, you are our local face outward. You are responsible for a number of family homes and are their most important professional support in everyday life: from recruitment and matching to ongoing mentoring and follow-up. You work from your home and plan much of your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of your routine. Your introduction and training will initially take place at our office in Gothenburg, and you will return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins. About the Work Area: Your base is Örebro, but assignments regularly occur in neighboring counties as well. When recruiting new family homes, occasional travel within the entire region may occur. You will, among other things: Mentor and support family homes in their assignments, even in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders regarding the child Document and report regularly to the client and to the team in Gothenburg Recruit, investigate, and match emergency and family homes in the region Participate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule We are Looking for You as Someone Who Holds a degree in social work or equivalent higher education degree in social work, with experience in social work and preferably with children and youth. You are a confident and solution-oriented person who navigates complex relationships between family homes, children, biological networks, and social services with ease. Because you work independently most of the time, it is important that you are self-directed, organized, and comfortable with independent responsibility, while at the same time valuing and actively seeking contact with the team. You also have: Good knowledge of current legislation, particularly the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act The ability to maintain focus and structure even when the pace is high, without daily office presence A warm and professional demeanor when meeting with family homes and children A B driver's license and your own car – the position involves regular home visits and travel in the region (compensation according to applicable rates) Resident in the Örebro area and surrounding region Meritorious Experience in family foster care, investigation, or mentoring of family homes Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, or A Home to Grow In Training in investigation methods for family homes, such as Kälvesten Mentor training for family homes Previous experience working from home/remotely in a similar role We Offer A role where you make a real difference for children and young people every day Great freedom to plan your own workday Regular visits to our office in Gothenburg for team meetings and check-ins Regular supervision and an individual professional development plan Wellness allowance and occupational pension An engaged team with high expertise, even if the distance is sometimes greater Interviews are held on a rolling basis, initially digitally.
