About Hemnovia Hemnovia works with family foster care with a focus on quality and long-term commitment in every placement. We work closely with social services and place the child's safety at the center. We are a growing organization with short decision-making processes and a management that is close and present, even when you are located further away from our main office in Gothenburg. About the Role As a family home consultant in the Kristianstad region, you are our local face. You are responsible for a number of foster families and are their most important professional support in their daily work: from recruitment and matching to ongoing guidance and follow-up. You work from your home and largely plan your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of your routine. Your introduction and training takes place initially at our office in Gothenburg and you return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins. About the Work Area: Your base is Kristianstad, but assignments occur regularly in neighboring regions as well. When recruiting new foster families, occasional travel within the broader region may occur. You will, among other things: Guide and support foster families in their assignments, even in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other actors involved with the child Document and report ongoing progress to the commissioner and to the team in Gothenburg Recruit, assess, and match emergency and foster families in the region Participate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule We Are Looking for You If You Hold a degree in social work or equivalent higher education within social work, with experience in social work, preferably with children and youth. You are a confident and solution-oriented person who navigates complex relationships between foster families, children, biological networks, and social services with ease. Since you work independently most of the time, it is important that you are self-directed, organized, and comfortable with responsibility, while at the same time valuing and actively seeking contact with the team.
