About Hemnovia Hemnovia works with family foster care with a focus on quality and long-term sustainability in each placement. We work closely with social services and place the child's security at the center. At our organization, we have short decision-making processes, engaged colleagues, and a leadership team that is close and present. About the Role As a family home consultant, you are a central part of a close and engaged team. You are responsible for a number of foster families and are their most important professional support in their daily work—from recruitment and matching to ongoing guidance and follow-up. The role requires that you enjoy building long-term relationships, making independent decisions, and managing many processes in parallel. You will, among other things: Recruit, investigate, and match emergency and family foster homes Guidance and support foster families in their assignment, even in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders around the child Document and report to the client Participate in on-call duties according to a rotating schedule, approximately every fourth week We're Looking for You If You have a degree in social work or equivalent higher education qualification within social work, preferably with experience in social work with children and young people. You are a confident and solution-oriented person who navigates comfortably in complex relationships between foster families, children, biological networks, and social services. You enjoy working independently but value close team collaboration and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You also have: Good knowledge of current legislation, particularly the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act Ability to maintain focus and structure even when the pace is high A warm and professional approach when meeting foster families and children A driver's license (Category B) and enjoy driving, as the role involves regular home visits Meritorious Experience in family foster care, investigations, or guidance of foster families Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, or A Home to Grow In Training in assessment methods for foster families, such as Kälvesten Supervisor training for foster families We Offer A role where you make a real difference for children and young people every day Hybrid work, short decision-making processes, and great opportunities to influence your job Close leadership and a united team where you never stand alone in your assignment Regular supervision and an individual professional development plan Wellness allowance and occupational pension Access to a company car, work computer, and work phone An engaged team with high expertise Interviews are held on an ongoing basis at our office at Odinslundsgatan 25 in Örgryte.
