Read more about us on our website: Familiaris Job Description Familiaris AB is now seeking a family home consultant based in Stockholm. The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%). In the role of family home consultant, your main task is to mentor and support family homes in their assignment to receive children and young people in their homes. You will also work with recruitment and assessment of new potential family homes and participate in the basic training "A Home to Grow In." Beyond this, the role may also include social consulting services for municipalities, such as BBIC assessments and parental support initiatives. Your main responsibilities include: Visits to family homes. Responsibility for ongoing documentation. Contact with social services and other care institutions/authorities. Support measures for placed children and young people when needed. Ensuring that operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. On-call work. Digital group mentoring for family homes. Physical and digital mentoring within the staff group. Active participation in systematic quality work. About You We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people in family home care, either within social services or in the private sector. A degree in social work is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have completed mentor training focused on family home care. We would like you to be resident in Stockholm or in nearby areas. As a person, you are engaged, thorough, unpretentious, and solution-focused. You have good interpersonal skills and can work both independently and in a group. Since the position involves travel, it is an advantage if you are comfortable driving. At least four years of experience working with children and/or young people in family home care (within social services or private sector). Very good Swedish in speech and writing.
