Since the beginning of the year, Stockholm City offers this evidence-based intervention to all city districts and residents, highlighted in the National Board of Health and Welfare's knowledge support. According to the Social Services Act's transformation goals, social services should be knowledge-based and conduct activities in accordance with science and proven experience. MST is an intervention that aligns well with this description! Multisystemic Therapy is an evidence-based family treatment intervention where the working method is aimed at breaking norm-breaking behavior in a young person by working toward change in the systems surrounding the youth. The foundational work takes place in the family system. More information about the method can be read here. The team consists of four family treatment specialist positions and a team leader, and we are now seeking a family treatment specialist, as one of our colleagues is moving on to another position. The target group is interesting and important, and you will have great opportunity to make a difference. The work is independent, flexible, and challenging, and the method, your teammates, and the team leader provide important support for you as a practitioner. The team has method supervision every week and individual support as needed. As new to the method, you will complete basic training in MST. The team also has quarterly boosters and further training in the method. Järva has a very large open care service directed toward children and youth. We are divided into 3 open care units; Open Care Children and Youth 1, 2, and 3. The units have several different teams with different target groups and working approaches.
