We are now seeking two family treatment specialists for our open care team at the Family Unit in Kumla, including one one-year temporary position to cover parental leaves and one permanent position to expand our team. About Us The Family Unit consists of three work groups: the authority group, open care, and residential care/supported housing. The family treatment specialist position belongs to open care, which currently consists of ten family treatment specialists, two social workers at the family center, and two social workers in the school social work team. We work closely with preschools, schools, and school health services to provide early support to families. Our organization promotes collaboration and creates a strong team around families. DUTIES As a family treatment specialist, you will: • Provide treatment interventions on behalf of social workers or as an intervention without a support decision according to the new Social Services Act. • Work solution-focused with home-based solutions and strengthen parents in their ability. • Participate in collaboration models with preschools, schools, and other actors. • Be involved in developing our work based on the new Social Services Act. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who • Have an academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other relevant education. • Have experience with social work and preferably experience of working in a treatment role. • Believe in people's ability to change and have an easy time building alliances. • Are persistent, goal-oriented, and collaborative. • Preferably have both interest and experience working with youth and substance abuse and addiction issues. Driver's license B is a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Working hours: Daytime.
