In Mölndal City, we are proud to have Sweden's most important jobs where together we create the best possible everyday life for our residents. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday lives every day! The Social Services and Employment Administration provides Mölndal residents with support, security, and new opportunities. The administration is responsible for individual and family care, refugee reception, and labor market initiatives. Our ambition is for every resident of Mölndal to feel seen and secure, and to be able to trust that their rights are protected. Through collaboration, courage, and attentive service, we want to contribute to Mölndal residents being able to live independent lives and have the opportunity to build their futures. Together with other actors, we work toward a sustainable society with a strong focus on early and preventive work. We want to be a social service that is where Mölndal residents are. We who work in the open care unit at the Social Services and Employment Administration are 45 employees, three method supervisors, and three managers. In the unit, we have three family treatment teams with different focuses, one family peace team, one school presence team, one field team, a social activity program, a network team, a social worker at the police, and two family centers. You will be part of the intensive team and work together with two experienced family treatment specialists. We use a systemic approach and a strong child and user perspective. Throughout the child area, we work with Signs of Safety as our approach. We also work with a variety of methods including network work, Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Mateo Meo, Circle of Security (COS), Taping, Whole Child, Comet, Kibb, and Safer Children. We are a stable operation with very experienced staff and are now seeking reinforcement for our family treatment services within the intensive family treatment team. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES The main task is to provide needs-assessed services aimed at children and young people 0-18 years old and their families. The intensive family treatment team works with intensive and short-term interventions lasting approximately 10-12 weeks. Sometimes the task within the intensive family treatment team is to assist the social worker with investigation materials, and sometimes the task is to work intensively with treatment interventions to stabilize and help families when needs are extensive. The focus of interventions in this team is assignments with high concern where the intervention needs to start quickly, be intensive, and where we need to see positive change. Often the task includes sorting support and interventions, motivating toward appropriate support, and facilitating positive change over time. The main focus of the work is to help families find security and a well-functioning everyday life for children. We also work to assess the family's receptiveness to change, create conditions for the family to achieve rapid positive change, and build a stable environment for children and young people. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the family's network and with other professionals around the young person. Family treatment specialists in the intensive family treatment team often meet with families several times a week. Conversations and interventions can take place in different settings such as in the home environment, at school, in healthcare, in leisure activities, or in our social services facilities. The need for flexibility determines the approach. Collaboration with social workers is an important part of our work. You will be able to influence your working hours yourself, but the assignment requires flexibility and inconvenient working hours can occur, though not on weekends. In periods, working hours may be scheduled for early mornings and/or late evenings. In the intensive family treatment team, joint development work that suits us as colleagues is prioritized in combination with meeting the needs of the families we work with in our assignment. The team documents its work and summarizes the intervention in writing and verbally. In the intensive family treatment team, we always work with at least two family treatment specialists on each case. In addition to collegial support, you will have access to external process supervision. You will be offered training in Signs of Safety as much of the team and social services in Mölndal work based on this approach in social work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for an engaged and creative person with own drive, good ability to collaborate, and experience documenting and expressing yourself in writing. You may have interest and experience working with the entire target group, that is, children and young people from 0-18 years old. You must have a social work degree or another equivalent academic degree that the employer deems equivalent, and preferably also relevant further education in the field. It is desirable that you have experience in both treatment work and investigation work with children and young people. You must have good knowledge of the Social Services Act. A Category B driver's license is a requirement. We can offer you stimulating work in an organization that is development- and change-oriented. We look forward to finding the third puzzle piece that can complement our well-functioning team. Welcome with your application! Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement. We see diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds. Before a job offer is made, an extract from the criminal record will be requested. We want to inform you that your application is a public document according to the principle of public access.
