We are now recruiting two Family Therapists for the Family Team in Sundbyberg City! One permanent position and one parental leave coverage position. Our mission is to contribute to positive change for children, young people, and their families, and we hope you want to do that with us. About us: Open Care for Children and Youth in Sundbyberg operates on behalf of the child and youth units to offer children, young people, and families qualified support through evidence-based interventions that emphasize participation and holistic perspectives. The team currently consists of fourteen family therapists and one team leader. All treatment work is based on a systemic perspective that emphasizes the interaction between the individual, family, and network. For several years, Sundbyberg has invested in providing both therapists and investigating social workers and managers with training in basic systems theory/family therapy. Your role: We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and committed family therapist for our open care team in Sundbyberg City. This is a role for you who believes in the power of relationships and sustainable change processes. We have a genuine focus on children, young people, and their families, and we are looking for someone who, like us, wants to contribute to real change. As a Family Therapist with us, you work closely with children, young people, and parents who need support in their daily lives to change dysfunctional interaction patterns. The role also includes family pedagogical work over time in families' home environments. This means providing practical and pedagogical support in everyday situations, strengthening parental capacity, and working with families to create sustainable structures and functioning interactions at home. The assignment involves: Conducting structured treatment interventions for families with varying challenges Working with families pedagogically and long-term in their home environments Supporting families in developing functioning routines, communication, and interaction in everyday life Collaborating with schools, child and adolescent mental health services, social services, and other important actors around the child Participating in methodology development and the team's collective learning Contributing to the continued development of open care approaches in line with current research We are looking for someone who is: Calm and confident when meeting with children and parents Curious and reflective in your work Open, positive, and relationship-building in your interactions with our families, investigating social workers, and other collaboration partners Professional, committed, and has a genuine desire to make a difference for the families we meet Requirements: Degree in social work or other equivalent relevant higher education degree Advanced training in systems theory Experience in family therapy or open care work with children, young people, and their families Experience in family pedagogical work in home environments is meriting Ability to work in a structured, reflective manner with a focus on change Meriting: Competence and experience working with families where violence has occurred Competence and experience working with families in their home environments Knowledge of working with single parents in high conflict situations We place great importance on your personal qualities!
