About the job The position is located in the Family Group, which consists of 8 family therapists. The unit is organizationally placed within IFO's Family Support Department, which is the municipality's open care service for children, youth, and their parents and includes 9 different activities and 32 employees. The Family Group serves families with children and youth aged 0–20 years who have psychosocial difficulties, often combined with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or experienced domestic violence. Many of the families we meet are in a stressful life situation and need support to create a more sustainable and functioning daily life. We also facilitate groups for parents. We work based on support decisions with goals and implementation plans developed in consultation with the family and social workers. We apply a systemic approach and focus on the child's needs and perspective. Our work is carried out in close collaboration with social services, schools, and other actors, and we always prioritize the best interests of the child. Work takes place in the Family Group's premises, in homes, or other environments where the family or family members are located. You have the opportunity to influence your work schedule arrangement within our flexible working hours agreement. Regular external supervision is provided. The workplace is relatively centrally located in Täby with good access to public transportation. Who are you? We are looking for you with: - A degree in social work, behavioral science, or another completed higher education/university degree that the employer deems equivalent - Several years of current experience with qualified social treatment work with this target group - Good documentation skills and comfort working on assignments from social services - A valid driver's license (category B) It is advantageous if you have: - Training in, for example, MI, FFT, Tryggare barn, Trygghetscirkeln, Komet - Experience working in open care - Basic psychotherapy training As a person, you have good self-awareness and personal maturity. You are comfortable meeting families in vulnerable life situations and have a relationship-building work approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, creating security in the therapeutic relationship. You share yourself and your experiences with colleagues and take responsibility for contributing to a well-functioning work team.
