The Social Services Department has a broad area of responsibility that includes administrative enforcement and preventive measures, with a reception and investigation unit, open-access services, family law, financial assistance, and an operational unit working with preventive measures. 1 position(s). DUTIES Are you a dedicated family treatment worker who wants to work therapeutically with children and families? As a family treatment worker in Sigtuna, you are part of the Treatment Services Department, which is responsible for all social services' needs-assessed treatment interventions. The department consists of two units, each led by a unit manager. The Children, Youth and Family Treatment Unit consists of 12 employees who work with family treatment and support for young people, based on various specializations and expertise. The work is systemic and is based on the goals developed by the investigation unit. We want to use the department's expertise as wisely as possible, and there is an expectation that you will also want to contribute to that development when needed. Within the department, there is also the Unit for Child, Adult and Family Support, which consists of 13 employees. This unit also includes a school team. We get involved in cases where collaboration and knowledge exchange between the units is necessary. In this way, we work to offer the best possible interventions to our residents. We work intensively with our clients with clear objectives. Often, the work will be conducted in close collaboration with the investigation unit to work on change in parallel with ongoing investigations. The work is led by a unit manager who has extensive experience in family treatment and social services. As an employee, you have access to regular and structured case supervision of high quality, as well as external supervision. There is also the opportunity to work from home when the work allows. QUALIFICATIONS You are a social worker or have another academic education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working within the social services sector and you have experience and training in treatment work with families. The work is conducted in social services premises and in clients' homes, depending on need. You should be able to move a case forward, take ownership of your treatment, and have the competence to make assessments regarding achieved goals and where the family is in the treatment process. It is important that you can identify which issues fall within the social services' area of responsibility or when other actors should be involved, such as child and adolescent psychiatric services. You are organized and work according to a clear process where you have the ability to organize and plan your work well. You have a good ability to collaborate with other people and you take initiative in professional social contexts where you create contacts and maintain relationships. You have a clear child focus.
