JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Counselor within the Treatment Team for Children and Youth, you will offer support and treatment to both families who are motivated to change and to families where the intervention may be part of preventing a placement, or as preparation for children to be able to return home. Together with the family and with your colleagues on the assessment side, you will design interventions based on the family's individual needs. Your main responsibilities include: • Work with family counseling in various forms: individual, with entire families, and in group activities. • Work with youth care • Design interventions together with the family and in close collaboration with colleagues on the assessment side, based on the family's needs and goals. • Follow up results of treatment work through ratings in Journal Digital and contribute to the development of follow-up methods. • You may need to be able to offer support in the evenings when families need it. • Work based on the basic principle that everything begins with the resident – focus is always on strengthening the individual's own resources and opportunities to live their life with independence. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Adequate higher education such as a degree in social work or other equivalent post-secondary education • Previous practical experience in social treatment work, with particular focus on family counseling Meritorious qualifications include if you have method training in one or more of the following: Signs of Safety, MI, PYC, FREDA, Marte Meo, CAP, Active Parenting, Re-Pulse KSL, KBT. Experience working in Journal Digital is also meritorious. We are looking for someone who sees the value in building alliances, is curious and exploratory, and who wants to understand what the individual truly perceives and needs.
