Description and Responsibilities Open care for children and youth ages 0-20 is part of the early intervention section. We primarily work with needs-assessed interventions and are tasked with providing support and treatment to children and their caregivers. The section has a distinct child focus which we want to permeate all services we offer to improve children and young people's living conditions in Värnamo municipality. Based on the nature of the assignments, therapists are trained in various methods; on the unit divided into two groups—one with a child focus and one with a youth focus. We work both individually and together with others in the section based on how the assignments are structured. The position is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. You are offered a developmental workplace where there is both breadth and the possibility of some specialization. Open care for children and youth consists of a unit manager, two group leaders, eight family therapists, four treatment assistants, a specially qualified contact person, and two therapists. We are facing a transition based on new Social Services legislation where we will be an accessible, knowledge-based, and preventive social service. Do you want to be part of this change journey? Qualifications You must have a degree in social work or higher education that the employer deems equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience with similar tasks.
