The Family Team, Advice and Support, is looking for new colleagues!
We are now seeking two committed employees for our family team within Advice and Support. The team consists of ten family therapists and one team leader, and we work in close collaboration with the Child and Youth Authority, where we share both management and team leadership.
With us, you will be part of a developing operation. We have recently begun implementing Signs of Safety and are focusing on home-based solutions and deepened work within school social issues. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future support services for children, young people, and their families.
Your tasks
As a family therapist, you work with support and treatment in families with complex social situations, with the goal of helping families find the right strategies to create lasting and positive change. The work consists largely of assignments from the Child and Youth Authority, but also as support without a needs assessment according to the new Social Services Act.
You have the opportunity to largely design and plan your own workday, so you need to be flexible and find practical solutions. The starting point is that work is conducted in the environments deemed most appropriate, which could be in the home, through digital communication, in public spaces, at school, etc. The role involves extensive collaboration with other functions, such as social workers, other therapists on the unit, and external partners such as child psychiatry, police, and schools.

You are flexible and solution-focused in your work approach, and feel confident both working independently and with others. At the same time, you actively contribute to a good work environment characterized by collaboration and a clear focus on the task.
Requirements:
Hold a degree in social work or other relevant university education and have experience with treatment work with young people and families
B-class driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Desirable qualifications:
Training in Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
Experience working in the Lifecare management system
Experience with Signs of Safety; if you lack this, there may be an opportunity to obtain it through us
Experience with treatment work with children, young people, and families and broad knowledge of evidence-based methods such as Safer Children, The Ladder, FFT, ABC, MI, Repulse, etc.
Good ability to build alliances and establish trust

What we offer you
You work mainly on weekdays during daytime hours, but some evening and weekend shifts may occur. The position is a permanent employment, as well as a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment. You have your own office and work in our facilities located in Kisa.
