Do you want to help secure the power grid of the future? Gomero is a growth company that is digitalizing maintenance of transformer stations for leading power grid companies in both the Nordic region and globally. Our system, SIPP, collects real-time data from critical infrastructure and helps energy companies transition from scheduled inspections to smart, predictive maintenance. Now we are looking for a Field Service Technician who takes ownership of our installations and ensures that the technology works exactly as it should in the field. The Role As a service technician with us, Sweden is primarily your work area, based out of Gothenburg. You'll receive a clear plan of service assignments to complete, but once you're out in the field, it's you who drives the work to completion. The work is independent and hands-on. You move through exciting environments where you install hardware, commission our systems, and verify that the software functions correctly before moving on to the next assignment. You are Gomero's face to our customers and solve the technical challenges that arise along the way. The role involves considerable travel and overnight stays. It suits you if you enjoy independent work and are comfortable planning your time without always having colleagues nearby. Installation, commissioning, and quality assurance of SIPP hardware and software in the field. Troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on-site technical support for customers. Digital documentation and reporting upon completion of assignments. Technical handover and dialogue with the customer's technicians on-site. Qualifications You are a resourceful problem-solver who is motivated by getting things to work. You are confident in your technical competence, meticulous about safety, and thrive in a role where you are expected to take your own initiative. Education Preferably a technical qualification or equivalent practical experience (e.g., in electrical work, low-voltage systems, automotive electronics, automation, or mechanics). Skills and Competencies Organized (you understand the importance of documentation) and service-minded in your interactions with customers. Requirements: B-class driver's license and proficient in Swedish and English. Meritorious, but not required: Experience working in sensitive or protected environments, for example in industry or the power grid sector (switchgear/transformer stations). Previous experience as a field technician, alarm technician, service technician, or distribution electrician. Familiarity with basic networking, routers, software configuration, or IoT systems.
