The Open Care Unit consists of 45 employees, three methodology supervisors, and three managers, and encompasses four family treatment teams, presence teams, family peace teams, field teams, leisure activities, the Network Team, social workers at the police, two family centers, and Mini Maria. We are now seeking two new employees for permanent positions. Welcome to become part of our team! 2 position(s). WORK TASKS The Field Team in Mölndal conducts socially preventative and outreach work among young people aged 10-18 at risk. We focus on creating relationships that motivate and guide young people to support services based on individual needs. Work as a field secretary involves mapping youth phenomena and their life situations at individual, group, and structural levels, with scheduled work hours during daytime and evenings (not weekends). Beyond evening outreach work, we dedicate significant time to the city's schools through both school-based field work and classroom interventions. For many years we have worked with lesson materials in classrooms, both in secondary and now also in middle school. Since this represents a large part of the work, we are looking for someone who is comfortable delivering lesson materials and facilitating group discussions. The Field Team works closely with schools, youth centers, SSPF, authorities, and other actors working with children and young people. As a field secretary, you become a resource and support for young people and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. We are looking for someone who is creative in reaching young people and their families to offer guidance and support early on. It is important that you are skilled at building relationships with young people and feel comfortable meeting them on their own terms. A large part of our work involves addressing important topics such as violence in young people's close relationships, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and internet safety, which we usually do through lectures directed at both children and young people, as well as important adults and professionals. It is therefore good if you are comfortable participating in such settings. You can read more about the Field Team's work on our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/faltgruppenmolndal/ QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a degree in social work or other academic education deemed equivalent. Further education in areas concerning children and young people, project management, and community work is meritorious, as is experience as a field secretary or similar role. Interest in outreach work at individual, group, and structural levels is a requirement. Since we work in teams, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and are flexible according to the team's needs. It is also necessary that you can work independently when the work requires it. Good collaboration skills are also important as the work involves many meetings and cooperation with other actors. You are open-minded, receptive, and appreciate the value of personal interaction. You thrive in children and youth environments and feel secure in new situations. The ability to take initiative and adapt to different situations is central, as is translating theory into practice. The ability to handle conflicts and maintain a calm demeanor is an important requirement for this job. Since contact with the target group is voluntary, we are looking for someone who can build relationships and motivate young people to engage. You are passionate about creating good conditions for children and young people. The work also requires that you express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of other languages is meritorious, and a driver's license is required. We value personal qualities and believe that diversity contributes to a dynamic and inclusive workplace. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period. Welcome to submit your application today! Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite, start date: To be agreed upon. We view diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants from different backgrounds. We wish to inform you that your application is a public document according to the principle of public access. If you have protected personal information, you should NOT apply through the system but contact the responsible recruiting manager to handle your application. Contact details can be found in the job posting. Before any employment, we will verify citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Background checks may be conducted before employment. In certain positions, digital identification (e.g., BankID) is required to perform work tasks. The identification is used only to confirm your identity in the systems. Regarding the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing.
