As a Field Coordinator, you work through outreach and relationship-building. You identify young people who in various ways signal that they need support, and provide promotion and prevention interventions at the individual and group level together with other professionals within social services, police, schools, student health services, and culture & recreation. A large part of the work as a Field Coordinator involves counteracting risk factors for young people, but you will also place great emphasis on strengthening health and protective factors such as having an active leisure activity, succeeding in school, and having trusted adults in their proximity. Collaboration is a prerequisite for success in this work, and therefore emphasis is placed on maintaining a broad network of contacts in the municipality and preserving and developing collaboration with already established actors. As a Field Coordinator, you are a link where you, when needed, direct young people and their families to other professionals. You will have contact with school personnel and you will need to maintain good contact with other actors both within and outside the municipality. Motivating and supportive conversations with both young people and their parents are a large part of the work. In addition to fieldwork in the school environment, outreach work is conducted in other arenas where young people spend time; downtown, youth centers, on the Internet, and at various events held in the municipality such as Walpurgis Night, sports events, school celebrations, etc. What You Need to Bring You have relevant education and experience in fieldwork. You have experience in social change work. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a Field Coordinator, you are the face of social services and need to act with a high degree of professionalism when meeting children, young people, and their adults. You are secure in yourself as you will meet people in various vulnerable situations and face complex social problems. You have an easy time creating contact and building relationships with people you meet, whether it involves children, young people, parents, or collaboration partners. You are flexible and easily adapt and reprioritize when different situations arise. You are expected to act with a solution-focused approach in the situations you face and are also expected to take personal responsibility in your work and easily collaborate with colleagues as well as other actors. Requirements Experience in outreach fieldwork Knowledge of Signs of Safety Participated as a Field Coordinator in network meetings Good knowledge of Norrtälje municipality and established contact with collaboration actors Stable and able to manage stress constructively, maintain humor under pressure and setbacks Secure and confident in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, have the courage to speak up, and have the ability to distinguish between facts and persons. Collaboration-oriented and adapt to win-win solutions through a humble focus on the common goal. Knowledge of social services authority and the new Social Services Act B driver's license Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Employment Form, Scope, and Start Date Employment Form: Permanent Scope: Full-time Start Date: 2026-11-04 For this role, the starting salary is normally between 32,000-40,000 kr depending on experience and competency.
