About the Position
As a field mechanic and inspection technician, you will work on-site with customers performing a combination of service, troubleshooting, and technical assessments. A central part of the role is inspecting and evaluating used machinery prior to purchase or trade-in.
You will work with compressors, drilling rigs, generators, and other industrial machinery, where you are responsible for assessing condition, identifying maintenance needs, and ensuring that equipment meets our quality standards.
The work is independent and varied, with significant personal responsibility and close contact with both customers and colleagues.
Your Tasks
Inspection and technical assessment of used machinery for purchase and trade-in
Service and maintenance of, for example:
Compressors
Drilling rigs
Generators
Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
Repair and replacement of components (motors, control systems, relays, sensors, etc.)
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Documentation in service and inspection reports
Customer contact and technical advice, both on-site and by phone
We Are Looking for You If You
Have upper secondary education in vehicle technology, industrial technology, electrical and energy technology, or equivalent
Have knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics
Have experience with troubleshooting in mechanics and electrical systems
Hold a class B driver's license (BE is a merit)
Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written (multilingual skills are a merit)

Work Environment
The work takes place mainly on-site at customers in industry, construction, and contracting. Travel occurs daily and 2-4 overnight stays per week are a natural part of the position.
