Factory Painter for Craftsman Design at Folkärna AB
About the Company
Craftsman Design is a premium company in the construction industry with its own fine carpentry workshop. We perform full and partial contracting for private individuals as well as our own major new construction projects with a focus on the Greater Stockholm area. We have helped many transform their homes into dream residences that they find difficult to leave.
All our employees—project managers, construction workers, installers, carpentry staff, and administration—have extensive experience in construction and interior design, where results and quality drive our work. Projects should flow smoothly and effortlessly, and we never compromise on quality and work environment.
Our head office and fine carpentry workshop are located in Avesta, and our showroom and Stockholm office are in Danderyd. We currently have 45 employees and work closely with our selected subcontractors, totaling over 100 people.
Job Responsibilities
As a factory painter at Craftsman Design, you will work with surface finishing and painting of our high-quality carpentry products. The work encompasses the entire process to ensure a perfect finish on every detail.
Your main responsibilities:
Spray painting and hand painting.
Preparation and surface treatment, such as sanding, filling, and masking.
Quality control and inspection of finished surfaces.
When needed, support the team with other tasks occurring in the carpentry workshop.
Profile
We are looking for someone who is responsible, has a good eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering a top-quality final result. For us, your personal qualities and attitude are decisive—if you have the right drive and a strong desire to learn the craft from the ground up, we will give you the conditions to succeed.
Since we work closely together in the carpentry workshop, we see it as a major success factor that you are a team player who collaborates easily with others.
To succeed in this role, we believe you:
Enjoy practical work in an active production environment.
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, so you can freely follow instructions and safety regulations.
If you have previous experience in industrial or spray painting, traditional painting, or work in a manufacturing factory environment, that is a plus, but not required.
With us, you have the chance to become part of a tight-knit team where craftsmanship is at the center.
