Loxy Sweden AB in Kumla is now seeking extrusion operators for its production. Here you are offered a stable position in a company that is growing and investing long-term in its employees. Loxy Sweden AB is a global manufacturer of advanced polymer films, foils, and technical functional laminates for the textile and medical industries. The company is in a growth phase and plans to expand production. To make this possible, they are now seeking more operators who want to grow into the role over time. As an extrusion operator, you work with monitoring, setting up, and adjusting machines in production. You work based on orders and recipes, prepare materials, set up the machine, and monitor the process during production. A large part of the work involves controlling and optimizing the machine through monitoring of materials and process parameters, as well as sampling and documentation. The work is varied and takes place in a clean and pleasant production environment. There are some heavier tasks and work involving stairs, which means you need to be comfortable with physical work. You work closely with your colleagues in a close-knit team. Training for the role is long-term and can take up to a year. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to find a workplace to stay at for a long time and who has the patience and drive to learn a technical trade from the ground up. Person Profile We are looking for someone who is technically interested, curious, and has a desire to understand how processes and machines work. You do not need to be educated in the field or have experience with extrusion specifically, but you need to have an easy time grasping systems, instructions, and technical tasks. To thrive in the role, we believe you are structured, self-driven, and unpretentious. Since training takes time, it is important that you are comfortable with not knowing everything from the start, that you dare to ask questions, and that you have the patience to gradually build up your competence. The role suits you if you want to work long-term, take responsibility, and contribute to stable production. You also need to be someone who understands the importance of presence and responsibility in a shift team. Production depends on everyone being present and collaborating, which makes reliability and good teamwork skills very important. We would like to see that you have experience from production, industry, assembly, process work, or other technical/physical work environments. If you have previously worked with machines, in a workflow, or with process monitoring, that is a merit.
