Extra Staff at Kolbacken HVB Would you like meaningful extra work where you can make a difference for young people – while having a varied and active workday? Kolbacken HVB is a small and family-like residential care home with proximity to nature and sea. We support boys aged 13–17 with issues including ADHD, early substance abuse, and criminal behavior. Our work is based on CBT, with a strong focus on education, internships, activities, and providing young people with a functioning and meaningful everyday life. We are looking for you to work as extra staff We are primarily looking for someone who has education and/or experience working with young people, preferably with knowledge of ADHD and complex behavioral issues. As extra staff, you will become an important part of the young people's daily life. You need to be someone who can create a sense of safety, build relationships, and at the same time be clear and professional. We believe you are: Calm, secure, and attentive Relationship-building and clear in your approach Interested in ADHD and young people's various needs Responsible and have good documentation habits Comfortable collaborating and working in a team Active and enjoy doing things together with the young people Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Holds a B-category driving license We have staff on site around the clock, which means working hours vary and may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Personal suitability is of utmost importance. Most importantly to us is that you are a secure adult who can meet the young people with respect, patience, and commitment.
