We are now recruiting several new employees for our Food department. We can offer the perfect part-time job for you if you want to do something alongside your studies. But we also need you if you want to make a shorter but significant contribution with us during our Christmas buffet in November-December. Working with us Our founder Ingvar Kamprad realized early on that satisfied customers are happy customers. That's why we exist at IKEA Food. We offer food to our customers before, during, and after their visits with us. Here we satisfy our customers in several ways. In our restaurant, we prepare, cook, and serve all food. We ensure the restaurant is nice and clean. And that items like cutlery, napkins, and ketchup are always available. We also offer food at our Bistro at the store exit where we sell our iconic hot dog with bread. During November-December, we serve our popular Christmas buffet at a really great price. Then we pick up the pace and we need more people to take care of our customers. It's truly a highlight of the year for us in Food! Who are you You don't need to have done this before – we'll train you. The most important thing is that you have the right motivation and values – then you'll get the opportunity to grow. Those of us who thrive best at IKEA are those who like people and a fast pace. In Food, we always have many things going on at the same time. We work in, among other things, cash registers, service, bistro, kitchen, and dishwashing. We are constantly moving and seeking contact with our customers. Here we work with people who enjoy variety and delivering a world-class customer experience! You will be part of a team of 40 people with different backgrounds, experience, and perspectives. Here you will become part of a team that works every day to give our customers more than just a satisfied stomach. Good to know We are recruiting for two different positions: 1. Temporary or permanent employment at 8 hours per week. The temporary position extends until May 2027 with great possibility for extension. You will receive a schedule where you work every other weekend and occasional weekdays. Immediate start. During the Christmas buffet period, you have the opportunity to work more hours. 2. Fixed-term employment at 8-25 hours per week during the Christmas buffet period (weeks 45-53). You will receive a schedule where you work every other weekend as well as weekdays and evenings. Working hours: You can start as early as 7:00 AM and finish as late as 7:30 PM. Salary: You are covered by HRF but receive salary and overtime pay according to the Retail Trade Collective Agreement (it's great!) In this recruitment, we do not want any cover letters.
