About the Position
This is a part-time consulting assignment where you'll be part of a small staffing pool together with other students, with good opportunities for extension. You're expected to work a minimum of 6 hours per week, arranged as full or half days. In this role, you'll be employed by Bravura and work for Trade Union SRAT.
About the Company
SRAT is the trade union for academics in society-supporting professions and operates across the entire labor market. SRAT stands by its members' side and provides support and advice when needed. This can include guidance and support for salary negotiations, layoffs and reorganizations, termination, or career changes.
SRAT has many professional groups in its membership, which means diversity and flexibility that allows them to welcome professional groups too small to form their own trade unions. SRAT has extensive experience working with, among other things, professional development in its member associations.
Job Responsibilities
As an advisor, you'll support negotiators by handling straightforward cases involving questions such as vacation time or notice periods. These inquiries come in via email from member associations and members. You should have an interest in and understanding of the Swedish labor model and labor law, personal maturity, and experience communicating with different types of people.
During the introduction, you'll receive training on the membership system, meet all functions within the office, and receive your own mentor to support you in your initial work.
The office is open Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, and work hours are arranged relatively flexibly within these times.
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
You're studying law or human resources at university and have at least one year of studies remaining
Work experience with similar tasks
Strong computer skills; previous experience with computer systems is a plus
Express yourself clearly and well in both spoken and written Swedish
Union experience is a merit
