We are now looking for you who want extra work where you really can make a difference. We are seeking people who want to work extra as a companion, respite carer, contact person, or support family. See descriptions of the assignments below:
Companion
As a companion, you help and support a young person or adult with a disability to participate in community life outside their own home and facilitate contact with other people. This could, for example, involve going on walks, visiting the cinema, attending sports events, or going into town. As a companion, you have hourly employment and are compensated per hour based on need.

Respite Carer
In our respite care service, you work in the home of a child or young person with a disability so that their parents can leave home.
The respite carer provides care, social interaction, support with meals, and activities in the home or its surroundings. As a Respite Carer, you have hourly employment and are compensated per hour based on need.

Contact Person
A contact person is a fellow human being and friend who has time, patience, and an interest in providing support to someone who needs to break their isolation. The purpose of the assignment is to be a companion and friend who promotes social contacts and participation in the community's leisure activities. Being a contact person is a volunteer assignment and not a job. You receive compensation in the form of a fee and reimbursement of expenses.

Support Family
Being a support family is a way for parents of children with disabilities to receive relief. It is also an opportunity for these children to experience a change of environment and develop a contact network outside the family. Being a support family is an assignment and does not constitute employment. You receive taxable compensation in the form of a fee and reimbursement of expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a positive view of people, who is responsible and compassionate. You have the ability to maintain a professional approach based on your assignment and work with a focus on the individual's needs and interests. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. You must be at least 18 years old to carry out any of these assignments. We will request a certificate from the police criminal record register and the social register for applicants.
