Extra Staff Needed for Kompassens Group Home

We are looking for you to work with us on afternoons/evenings, weekends, and nights (sleeping on-call). The residents of the group home are of varying ages and all have some form of intellectual disability. Support is tailored to each individual's needs and wishes. All residents live in their own apartments in close proximity to a common area, with access to staff 24/7. Your responsibilities include assisting residents in their daily lives, both at home with tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as with leisure activities such as disco, fika, movie visits, etc. Our values are built on LSS guiding principles: feeling safe, being treated with respect, having influence/a say in decisions, the right to participate in community life, and the opportunity to live a life like anyone else. An operation that meets each individual with respect and is based on the belief that every person wants to be involved—to have influence over and determine their own development and life. We want you to be interested in people and, together with us, work to create good support, assistance, and care for the individual. It is an advantage (but not a requirement) if you have experience from this field of work. It is a requirement that you speak good Swedish, as the disability for many means difficulty interpreting and understanding language. The group home is located in a detached house in a nice area of Saltsjö Boo. You can easily reach the group home by bus directly from Slussen on routes 414 or 442.
