We are now seeking a senior specialist who wants to take overall responsibility for this area and help develop the work for the future. Your assignment As Senior Export Control Manager, you will become BAE Systems Bofors' internal expert in export control. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that operations comply with applicable national and international regulations and serve as the company's specialist and advisor on complex export control matters. The role involves both operational and strategic work, where you combine qualified advisory services with the development of processes, working methods, and governance in the area. You will, among other things: - Be the company's primary export control specialist and main point of contact with ISP and other relevant authorities, including internationally - Interpret and apply Swedish and international export control legislation - Conduct classification of products, software, technology, and information - Take responsibility for permit applications and authority reporting - Provide advice, support, and training to the organization on export control-related matters - Analyze business deals, bids, and international collaborations from an export control perspective - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and permits - Drive improvement and development work within the export control area - Monitor changes in legislation and regulations, both nationally and internationally - Plan and conduct training for the organization - Participate in and support internal and external audits You will have a broad network throughout the organization and work closely with functions such as sales, contracts, procurement, engineering, finance, and legal. The role also involves international contacts within BAE Systems as well as dialogue with authorities and external stakeholders. You will be part of the Legal and Contracts Department and work with a smaller team called Global Trade. We are looking for you who We believe you are an established export control specialist with several years of experience independently driving and taking responsibility for qualified export control matters. To succeed in the role, we see that you: - Have solid experience in export control and associated regulations - Have worked independently with classification, permit handling, and authority contacts - Are accustomed to interpreting complex legislation and translating it into practical operational decisions - Have experience advising and guiding managers, project teams, and other decision-makers - Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing - Have relevant academic education or equivalent experience It is a merit if you have experience from the defense industry, government agencies, or other operations where export control is a central part of the business.
