At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of our time's major societal issues – migration. In total, we are approximately 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job! The Agency conducts extensive development work including civil defense and coordination within migration and asylum, with mandates from both the government and the EU. The Migration Agency's Security Department is part of the headquarters and has overall responsibility for security and preparedness in the agency. At the Security Department, experts work with information security, physical security, personnel security, crisis preparedness and civil defense, internal investigations, employee protection, and other security matters across the entire spectrum from business security to security protection. The department is led by our Security Director, who also sits in the agency's management. The Security Department is in an expansion phase, and we are now looking for you to help strengthen our work within business security. As an expert in business security, you will be placed at the Security Unit where we are responsible for the agency's security protection as well as business security, and where experts in physical security, information security, and security protection are gathered. Operations are subject to complex threat pictures and supported by technical systems with high demands for security and availability. Job Description We are now looking for you who have solid experience working with systematic security work such as developing business analyses, risk and vulnerability assessments, planning, control, and follow-up within security protection/business security and close to operations. We view it positively if you have broad experience in both security protection and business security, as this role will move within and between both areas. We Are Looking for You Who Have: • Academic education assessed as relevant for the position, or other education combined with experience relevant to the role • Several years of current experience in business security • Documented experience working with analysis, planning, control, and follow-up of security work • Documented experience regarding relevant legislation and standards in the field and good knowledge of upcoming legislation, for example within CER • Experience in business development • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing It Is Meritorious If You: • Have formal education within the security field and security protection • Have experience working within security protection • Have experience working in public administration • Have experience and knowledge of working strategically within other relevant security areas such as information security • Have worked with following up and developing processes in a government agency and/or in a larger organization • Have experience in project management Employment with us involves placement in a security classification. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
