About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. The transports mainly involve correctional clients, between remand facilities and prisons as well as to, for example, court hearings and medical appointments, but also detained persons on behalf of, for example, the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Swedish Migration Agency, and psychiatric services. TA is in an exciting expansion and development phase and expects an additional increase of approximately 5-10% per year in the coming years. Job Description For the role of expert, we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to developing and improving our transportation operations. In this role, you will have a central position where you work closely with operations and management on monitoring, analysis, and governance in a socially important operation with a focus on new establishments, growth, and development within the Transportation Department. As an expert, you have overall responsibility for establishing and developing transportation operations. You support managers and decision-makers with analyses, forecasts, and decision-making materials, and contribute to the development of processes, work methods, and governance models. The work includes, among other things: monitoring the operation's goals, results, and efficiency preparing analyses, key figures, and reports related to transportation operations identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains participating in development and change initiatives providing support to managers in new establishments and property matters being the department's contact person with the property department being responsible from the Transportation Department regarding property searches and lease negotiations in collaboration with the property department. The work is carried out together with managers and other experts both within TA and other departments at headquarters. Qualifications For the role of expert, we are looking for someone who is skilled at working with others and who, in collaborations, can solve problems and conflicts in a constructive manner. We also see that you are skilled at working with complex tasks and can handle issues of a more complex nature.
