About the Role As an event technician, you will be part of our Operations and Event Technology department. The department consists of three event technicians and a production manager, as well as three facility managers and a lead facility manager. The department is led by a department manager, and daily work is planned and supervised by the production manager and lead facility manager respectively. The role is varied, developmental, and operational, where you work closely with both customers, organizers, and project managers to ensure professional and safe implementations of our events. Your Assignment As an event technician, you are responsible for rigging, setup, breakdown, and technical delivery at our events and visiting productions. You contribute to planning, preparations, and implementation, and ensure that events are executed according to applicable safety requirements and quality standards. Together with the production manager, you are an important part of the creative process and work closely with project managers, coordinators, and customers to create the best possible experience for visitors and organizers. Work Tasks In this role, you will work with: Rigging, assembly, and disassembly of flooring, stage solutions, and technical equipment; work at heights may occur. Planning, coordination, and implementation of events and productions. Operation, maintenance, and development of the department's technical equipment and event-related equipment and inventory. Support to the organization's other areas within service, operations, and technology. Customer contact and consultation regarding events together with project managers and organizers. Fire safety and security work in connection with productions and events. Conduct of risk assessments before and during events. Supervision and coordination of temporary staff in connection with events. Responsibility for audio, lighting, and other event technology. The role involves work on evenings and weekends according to operational needs. Who Are You? Qualifications To be a suitable candidate for this role, we see that you have: Experience working in event technology, stage production, rigging, or similar activities. Education in event technology, stage production, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of audio, lighting, AV, and stage technology. Good computer skills and experience with digital planning or control systems. Driver's license (category B). Fluent Swedish, spoken and written. Meritorious Certification for work at height/fall protection. Lift certification, forklift certification, or equivalent credentials. Experience with safety and fire protection work at public events. Knowledge of AV technology, video production, or network-based control systems.
