We host everything from weddings, gala dinners, and corporate events to concerts, conferences, and large-scale celebrations. We are now looking for an engaged and driven Event and Banquet Manager who wants to take full responsibility for our events and help continue developing our operations. Gamla Teatern offers conference and event spaces for everything from small meetings to large events with several hundred guests. About the Position As Event and Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing our events with the highest quality. You are a natural leader who enjoys working operationally, inspiring your team, and creating experiences that guests will remember for years to come. You will become a key person in the business and work closely with the kitchen, restaurant, hotel, and sales teams to ensure that every event meets the highest standards. Your Responsibilities Plan and coordinate weddings, conferences, banquets, concerts, and other events. Lead, coach, and develop service staff. Manage staffing and scheduling for events. Maintain ongoing contact with clients from booking through event completion. Ensure excellent service, quality, and profitability. Be operationally present during larger events. Contribute ideas and help develop Gamla Teatern's event operations. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has experience in restaurant, hotel, conference, or event operations. Has previously worked in a leadership role. Is organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable making decisions. Is passionate about service and hospitality. Has good financial understanding and planning experience. Enjoys a fast pace and varying work days. Speaks Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing.
