Fagersta Stainless's owner, Marcegaglia, has invested 1.2 billion in our production, with major changes taking place in our Rolling Mill. We need to prepare for the future and are therefore seeking production workers for this department. Your main responsibilities will include: Monitoring and controlling the process at the new Duon furnaces, etc. Assisting with changeovers, adjustments, and fine-tuning within your work area. Performing routine operator maintenance within your work area. Gas cutting and waste handling as needed. Initiating orders for consumables and media within your work area. About You You should have upper secondary education and experience from similar work, and you need to feel comfortable in a process-driven environment. Previous experience with basic maintenance or an interest in mechanics is an advantage, as you will assist with changeovers and adjustments. Since you will be working with process monitoring and control, you also need good computer skills and be comfortable with work that requires high levels of precision and attention to detail. Forklift and overhead crane certifications are desirable. Other Information Current working hours are two shifts with a 38-hour work week: morning shift Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and afternoon shift Monday - Thursday from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
