Welcome to Us In Skärholmen's municipal preschools, we provide our children with the tools they need to live and develop in a constantly changing world. Based on this, we have prioritized language, democracy, and health in our development work, where play forms the foundation that permeates our education and instruction. Preschool Unit 1 in Bredäng is part of the Skärholmen District Administration. Bredäng is a multicultural area with apartment buildings, townhouses, and single-family homes. We are close to green areas, parks, and excellent public transportation. In our preschools, we have children with guardians from around the world. The unit has approximately 370 children. The unit is led by a director and unit manager and has access to a special education teacher and a quality and education leader. We are now seeking experienced and dedicated preschool teachers for unit 1 and 6 in Bredäng and southern Bredäng. As a preschool teacher, you are an important part of the work team and, together with your colleagues, you contribute to making the days in preschool form a whole where play, learning, and care go hand in hand. You are active, engaged, and contribute with your expertise in the pedagogical development work based on the preschool curriculum and the activities' goals. You contribute to the everyday functioning of the preschool and ensure that daily pedagogical work is based on children's participation and engagement. Together with your colleagues at the preschool, you create a positive, meaningful, and developmental learning environment for each child and for the entire group of children. You actively participate in the pedagogical development work – planning, implementing, documenting, reflecting, following up, and evaluating the preschool's education and instruction. You participate and contribute in cooperation with guardians in both smaller and larger contexts, for example parent meetings and development conversations. You contribute with your knowledge and ideas about how, together with your colleagues, you will realize the curriculum's goals and values. You are flexible and want to work with children of all ages. Working hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, daytime. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who has: Preschool teacher diploma At least three years of professional experience as a preschool teacher Good knowledge of the Swedish language Personal Qualities: Engaged, you show great engagement for the children, your colleagues, and the activities Creative, you use aesthetic learning processes with the children and use your creativity to find solutions to potential problems Development-oriented, you contribute to developing the activities toward prioritized goals Other Information We make selections based on CV and a number of selection questions that you answer when applying for the position, so we do not accept personal letters.
