VoB's HVB for youth, Klara, located 20 kilometers outside Kristianstad, is a smaller residential facility for children and youth ages 10-16 with extensive social and behavioral difficulties, such as school or relationship problems. In a safe environment with high staffing levels and respectful treatment, each child receives support to strengthen self-esteem, develop social skills, and create conditions for a stable everyday life and future. Klara also offers aftercare following the end of placement. Working with youth with psychosocial challenges, anxiety/worry issues, trauma, difficulties in home environments, attachment problems, and norm-breaking behavior. Change work toward specific goals takes place in a stable and safe environment based on an individually developed treatment plan created by the commissioning body, youth, and guardians. About the Positions We are seeking staff for both daytime positions with scheduled hours and positions as awake night staff. As a daytime treatment worker, you play an important role in youth's daily development work. You work both independently and with colleagues to plan, implement, and follow up on interventions that strengthen youth's abilities and opportunities to reach their goals. As awake night staff, you are an important part of youth's safety during the night. You are close to the youth, create safety and structure, and handle situations that arise in a calm and professional manner. You also work with documentation and handover to day staff to ensure continuity in the youth's care and treatment. In the survey accompanying your application, you indicate which position(s) you are interested in—daytime, awake night, or both. We particularly seek someone with experience in treatment work with youth and knowledge of structured treatment and change methods. Experience with, for example, Repulse, FIT, MI, ESTER, or similar methods is meritorious. We Seek You If You Have documented experience in treatment work with youth within HVB, social work, or other relevant treatment services. Have the ability to create and maintain trusting relationships even in challenging situations. Are safe, stable, and professional in your interactions. Work in a structured, goal-oriented, and solution-focused manner. Have good collaboration skills while also being able to take responsibility and work independently. Have genuine commitment to youth's development and well-being. Have a B driver's license. Qualifications You have education as a social worker, behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or equivalent education. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience with: Youth with externalizing behavioral problems and neuropsychiatric disabilities. Crime prevention work. Youth with norm-breaking behaviors or other risk behaviors. Collaboration with social services, schools, and other relevant stakeholders.
