JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to be part of developing systems for statistical production that form the basis for important decisions in both politics and business? With us, you will be part of the IT department in Örebro, with approximately 140 engaged colleagues, and will be responsible for the systems that enable this statistical production. In a world where it is increasingly difficult to know which information you can trust, our mission to guide the future with the help of facts is more important than ever. We are now seeking 1-3 experienced systems developers for our IT development unit, which works with both system maintenance and new development. Here you will be involved in developing and further developing our systems, primarily in .NET and web technology, but also with other technologies such as SQL. You are expected to take responsibility for solution design, code quality, and contribute to technical decisions and drive the work forward together with the team and IT architect. You share your knowledge and learn from others. When needed, you also serve as a support for less experienced developers. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have: • Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Science, or equivalent at least 3-year university education that we deem equivalent • Several years of professional experience as a systems developer (at least 5 years, beyond courses and internships as part of your education) • Several years of professional experience with systems development in development environments with C# and .NET • Professional experience with SQL development • Professional experience with modern web client development • Professional experience working with collaboration tools for systems development such as Azure DevOps server or Git • Professional experience working with unit tests • Professional experience with agile methods as a way of working • Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish It is also meritorious if you have: • Professional experience with development in Javascript/Typescript • Professional experience working with Entity Framework • Professional experience with development in React • Professional experience with development in Akka.NET • Professional experience working with queue management systems such as RabbitMQ • Professional experience working with technical design or contributing to solution architecture • Professional experience documenting and breaking down requirements into developable PBIs • Experience working with systems development within a larger and complex organization, where collaboration between different roles and functions is a central part For this to be a good match for both you and us, it is important that you have good collaborative skills. Employment form: Permanent employment. These positions are in the IT Development Unit in Örebro. Depending on operational circumstances, there is an opportunity to work part-time from home. The employment is permanent and usually begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date will be agreed upon. Placement in a security classification may be relevant.
