We are now seeking an experienced Steel Specialist who will have an important role in developing our way of working with steel. You will have great scope to shape the role yourself and will have significant opportunities for independent and autonomous work. As a Steel Specialist with us, you work largely on various projects as well as other office-related tasks. You will be an important part of our project teams and are responsible for ensuring quality and structure throughout the entire process – from planning through implementation and follow-up. You work closely with project managers, contractors, and colleagues within the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and design steel structures for projects
Ensure and monitor inspection plans
Conduct factory inspections and site inspections
Review drawings and technical documentation
Collaborate with various project stakeholders to drive work forward
Requirements
We are looking for you who have:
Several years of work experience with complex steel structures, preferably in power grid projects
Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience
Documented knowledge and training in EN1090-Steel Construction
B-Class Driver's License (business travel occurs)
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
It is advantageous if you have experience with:
Contractor inspections
Contractor law
Steel construction in the energy sector
Experience with power lines
Practical experience with assembly of steel structures
As a person, we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others. You will work with several different stakeholders in this role, and we value that you are good at building trust and establishing strong relationships. That you are thorough in your work and care about quality is also important in this role. You need to be someone who takes own initiatives and drives your work forward.
