We are now looking for an experienced Steel Specialist who will play an important role in developing our approach to working with steel. You will have considerable freedom to shape the role yourself and will have great opportunities for independent work. As a Steel Specialist with us, you work largely in various projects and other office-related tasks. You will be an important part of our project teams and are responsible for ensuring quality and structure throughout the process – from planning to implementation and follow-up. You collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and colleagues within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine structural steel designs in projects
Ensure and follow up on quality control plans
Conduct factory inspections and site inspections
Review drawings and technical documentation
Collaborate with various stakeholders in the project to drive work forward
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
Several years of professional experience with complex steel structures, preferably within power grid projects
Relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience
Documented knowledge and training in EN1090 - Steel Construction
B-Class Driver's License (travel during work hours is required)
Language skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
It is advantageous if you have experience with:
Contractor inspections
Contractor law
Steel construction within the energy sector
Experience with power transmission lines
Practical experience with assembly of steel structures

You will work with various stakeholders in this role, and we value that you are good at building trust and establishing strong relationships. Being thorough in your work and caring about quality is also important in this role. You need to be someone who takes own initiative and drives your work forward.
