We're now seeking an experienced audit consultant with at least two years of professional experience to join our team focused on public sector services, based in Helsingborg or Ängelholm. You will primarily work with municipalities, regions, and municipal companies in southern Sweden, providing qualified audit services in an important public sector environment. The Opportunity As an audit consultant at EY, you'll work on meaningful projects that give you significant influence over your day-to-day work. Responsibilities Take responsibility for conducting audit assignments together with your team. Establish strong relationships with key contacts on the engagement and provide regular updates on ongoing audit work. Complete audit processes efficiently. Continuously deepen your understanding of current regulations and processes, and share your knowledge to support and develop more junior colleagues. Understand our clients' unique ambitions and needs, and share your insights with colleagues to improve our work. This role involves close collaboration with both clients and colleagues, as well as opportunities to develop within public sector audit. Experience in audit, accounting, internal audit, controlling, or public sector work. Strong analytical skills and experience handling complex issues. Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Desirable Experience from municipalities, regions, or municipal companies. Knowledge of public governance and politically governed organizations. Interest in digitalization and modern audit practices. Ambition to develop toward authorized auditor or certified municipal professional auditor. As a Person, You Are Curious and engaged with an interest in societal development.
